Susan Heckler - Artist
Susan grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and studied art at The Maryland Institute College of Art.
She taught as an elementary school art teacher for four years.
Currently she resides in North Carolina, creating woodblock prints and carved, painted wood reliefs.
Susan is inspired by nature. Her subject matter is usually animals or landscapes. Her prints are multi-layered and colorful.
Currently, Susan is also working on canvas, combining woodblock prints with oil paintings.
